Behavorial Health Services

Showcase Group offers customized behavioral health consulting services to behavioral health organizations and youth nonprofits that serve Showcase Group’s target population. These service offerings leverage Showcase Group's internal capabilities to support the financial sustainability of its flagship initiative and program operations.

The Council for Community Wellness (CCW) is the branch of Showcase Group that provides community wellness services at the state license clinical professions level.  This company was founded by Edward Valentin, LCSW and John Kennebrew,LPC to follow the mission and culture of Showcase Group.  The operations and business of this branch are managed by the co-founders.

Direct Practice

Council for Community Wellness is a mental health clinic with the following services:

  • Clinical Assessment and Evaluations

  • Psychotherapeutic services – adults, children, family, couples and groups

  • Advanced case management & life coaching

CCW also provides services to clinical professionals.  The clinic houses a pre-license program where graduates can join the practice and provide clinical services under supervision. The clinical pre-license program is a practical experience and monthly lecture-style group supervision that teaches learners to polish their clinical competencies while preparing them for the responsibilities of becoming independently licensed clinicians.

Members of the Council

CCW is a clinic that collects clinical and non-clinical partners for referral services and care collaborations.  CCW understands that community partners have areas of expertise outside of the direct services provided by CCW clinicians.  The partners (known as members of the council) help bridge the gaps of direct services needed in the care of multi-layered cases.  Members of the council are also part-time clinicians of CCW that have their own private practice.
